After-School All-Stars Octathlon
An Experiential Team Building Event To Support The After-School All-Stars
Saturday, December 16th | 9am - 3pm | Rio Hotel’s Pavilion at SkillCon
Assemble your team of up to 10 super humanly skilled philanthropic humanitarians to represent your business, community service, TV show, movie or cause to compete in the ultimate fundraiser for the After-School All-Stars. Start training now to become the ultimate weapon in:

How is the Octathlon scored?
An accumulative score from your entire team’s efforts in eight different events will determine overall placement and of course the ultimate winning team.
Bottle Flipping Scoring
Most bottle flips onto a table in 60 seconds
Total combined score from all team members
5 Points for first place, 4 points for 2nd place, 3 points for third place, 2 points for fourth place, 1 point for fifth place
Cornhole Scoring
10 bag throws per team member. Total combined score from all team members
5 Points for first place, 4 points for 2nd place, 3 points for third place, 2 points for fourth place, 1 point for fifth place
Dodgeball Scoring
Scoring based on total number of game wins. 2 out of 3 games per match. Losing a match 2 games to 3 still gives your team a score of 2 points. Special mention award for Dodge Ball tournament champions
5 Points for first place, 4 points for 2nd place, 3 points for third place, 2 points for fourth place, 1 point for fifth place
Dodge Juggle Scoring
Scoring based on total number of game wins. 2 out of 3 games per match. Losing a match 2 games to 3 still gives your team a score of 2 points. Special mention award for Dodge Juggle tournament champions
5 Points for first place, 4 points for 2nd place, 3 points for third place, 2 points for fourth place, 1 point for fifth place
Fidget Spinning
1. Balance a spinning fidget spinner on one finger for 60 seconds. 3 tries per team member. 1 point for successful execution
2. Same hand fidget spinner transfer and maintain spin for at least 10 seconds. 5 tries per team member. 2 points for successful execution
3. Opposite hand fidget spinner transfer and maintain spin for at least 10 seconds. 5 tries per team member. 3 points for successful execution.
Juggling Scoring
Total number of balls each team member can juggle for 10 seconds each
Total combined score from all team members
5 Points for first place, 4 points for 2nd place, 3 points for third place, 2 points for fourth place, 1 point for fifth place

Rock Paper Scissors Scoring
First round team matches are best 3 out of 5 throws. Semi finals is best 5 out of 7 throws. In the finals, first to 10 points wins. Teams will go up against each other in tournament elimination format. Teams acquire 1 point for their team’s collective efforts to defeat their opposing team. Top winning team receives 3 points. Second place receives 2 points.
