Collegiate Colosseum
Collegiate Colosseum opened its doors April 2-3rd. “The Best in the West” was one of the goals the team used to fuel their passion for esports and chose Esports Arena in the heart of entertainment. As esports began to rapidly increase, so did aspiring leaders from each college and university. With the help of Tespa, a network of college clubs founded to promote gaming culture and host the best college esports events and competitions, a team of leaders from across the West Region formed a grand tournament to not only spark a friendly rivalry among charters.
The Collegiate Colosseum formed with talented leaders from Tespa chapters at the following schools: University of Utah, Orange Coast College, University of Reno, Ohlone College, Biola University, California State University of Long Beach, and University of California Riverside. Known for hosting large local esports events and growing esports fans, the latter charters shared their resources and experiences to showcase what the West Region had to offer.
It’s not just about the game, its about the players. CCNA strives to give students a taste of what they can achieve right in their home school. CCNA values leadership and community among the collegiate scene with onsite resources to achieve the schools individual goals. CCNA is offering panels and workshops exclusively for aspiring esports leaders to help grow and foster their community meanwhile giving exposure to competitive collegiate teams in hopes to transition to a professional environment.
