Dodge Juggle

Dodge Juggle is back! The most innovative convergence of sports ever created – Juggling + DodgeBall. Two different gameplay formats:

• One on One
1 minute to take out 1 hardcore juggler

• Dodge Juggle Protect
Teams consisting of 5 dodgeball players and protectors and one 5-club juggler. Take out the opposing team’s 5 club juggler before they take out your juggler. Chess+Dodge Juggle!

To sign up for Dodge Juggle, register to attend SkillCon first, then fill out the form below. Up to ten players can be part of a team, however only 5 can be on the court at any one time.

Speed Cube Solving

The World Cube Association is returning to SkillCon for their fourth year in a row!

All events take place in the Rio’s Pavilion

This is a WCA competition presented in conjunction with SkillCon 2018.

This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations. If you are new to competing, you may want to watch the competitor tutorial below.

AAU Natural Bodybuilding, Powerlifting and Weightlifting

The AAU will be holding natural bodybuilding, powerlifting and weightlifting events at SkillCon.

AAU Cards are available at www.aausports.org

Cards are $24 adults, $14 for youth 19 and under. Sport selection for AAU Card, under either Powerlifting or Weightlifting. One card covers all three sports.

The World Juggling Federation’s 14th annual convention and series of competitions are being held again at SkillCon as part of the Moxie Games. Competitions, workshops, games, special guests, and more. Jugglers can register at the World Juggling Federation website.

SPECIALTY WORKSHOP

The Juggling Launchpad

Jay Gilligan is offering his only teaching sessions open to the public in North America for the next 1.5 years at SkillCon 2018! Participants must be registered for WJF14. He is the head teacher of juggling at the Dance and Circus University in Stockholm, Sweden, and has taught variations of this event at the IJA, EJC, and every major circus school in the world. Jugglers who have participated in these lessons include Wes Peden, Tony Pezzo, Patrik Elmnert, Gauillaume Karpowicz, Arttu Lahtinen, Onni Toivonen, and Emil Dahl. Read more…
