Integration Competition

This competition will focus on all acrobatic skills. Scores will be judged based on a combination of creativity, difficulty, musicality, proficiency, and ability to evenly mix breaking skills (e.g. ground skills) with tricking skills (e.g. air skills).

MEN’S TRICKING COMPETITION

BREAKING, TRICKING, ACROBATICS

Do you like seeing impressive dance skills? Then come watch competitors show off their fancy footwork and utilize their fluid power as they breakdance to the beat. Do you like seeing cool tricks and insane feats of talent? Then come watch competitors flip, twist, and kick in a blend of martial arts and gymnastics. Do you like seeing new and innovative displays of human ability? Competitors will blend both breaking and tricking into a highly unique and challenging mix.

 

Competition Rules

Each contestant will have a max of 30 seconds per round. Each contestant will go 1 round against each other until the semi-finals. At that point, each contestant will go 3 rounds against each other.

– Breaking Competition: This competition will focus primarily on conventional breaking skills (toprock, downrock, and “ground” skills (e.g. tricks using hands or forearms), with minimal flips, kicks, and twists). Scores will be judged based on a combination of creativity, difficulty, musicality, and proficiency.

– Tricking Competition: This competition will focus primarily on conventional tricking skills (“air” skills such as kicks, flips, and twists, with minimal ground skills outside of common set ups (e.g. round offs or scoots). Scores will be judged based on a combination of creativity, difficulty, musicality, and proficiency.

– Integration Competition: This competition will focus on all acrobatic skills. Scores will be judged based on a combination of creativity, difficulty, musicality, proficiency, and ability to evenly mix breaking skills (e.g. ground skills) with tricking skills (e.g. air skills).
